Acquisition of an additional hall on Rheinstraße in Horhausen.

Manufacturing of lance reinforcements

Manufacturing of lance reinforcements for the refractory industry.

1986

New production facility

Construction of a new production facility including an office building in the Horhausen industrial area (current location).
The company consists of six employees.

Expansion of the production area

Construction of an approximately 30-meter-long canopy for storing the lance pipes.

1994

Death of Berthold Jankowski

Death of Berthold Jankowski after a serious illness.
The company consists of eleven employees.

1996

Change of company name / New management / Expansion of the production hall

Conversion of the company into “Jankowski GmbH & Co. KG”.
Elke Wimmer (née Jankowski) joins the company as managing partner, and Clemens Fischer as employed managing director.
Expansion of the production hall by approximately 1,000 m².

Quality certification / Start of contract manufacturing / Start of training

First quality certification according to DIN EN ISO 9002.
Commissioning of the first machining center for contract manufacturing.

Purchase of the first large CNC lathe.

Expansion of contract manufacturing / Start of mechanical engineering

Purchase of one of the first 5-axis turn-milling machines on the market.
Start of mechanical engineering with a focus on the cold forming industry.
The company has 25 employees.

Office expansion

Construction of an approximately 450 m² office extension.

Photovoltaic system

Construction of a photovoltaic system covering approximately 1,000 m².

2013

40 years of Jankowski company

40th anniversary of the Jankowski company.
The company has 42 employees, including seven apprentices.

New management

Christoph Wimmer becomes an employed managing director in the company.

2018

Contactless wire control

First use of the company’s own patented contactless wire control in Jankowski wire pre-drawing machines.

2019

Expansion of the production hall

Expansion of the production hall by approximately 1,000 m².
The company has 55 employees, including 11 apprentices.

2021

Renewal of the photovoltaic system / Hybridization

Renewal of the photovoltaic system over an area of 2,500 m².
Conversion of the vehicle fleet to predominantly hybrid drive systems.

50th anniversary of the Jankowski company.
